Jones Playhouse University District
July 12-15, 7:30 p.m. 2016
Can You Hear Me Now? is presented and produced by The Hansberry Project (with the support of Intiman Theatre) and focuses on the work of black women playwrights. Over the course of four days, you'll see staged readings from contemporary plays that haven't yet seen many national productions, including Sunset Baby by Dominique Morisseau, Sojourner by Mfonsio Udofia, Bright Half Life by Tanya Barfield, and A Lovely Malfunction by Shontina Vernon. This is a great opportunity to see an assortment of work that might blow up the coming years. RICH SMITH
