In conjunction with their Mood Indigo: Textiles from Around the World exhibit, the Asian Art Museum will present a series of outdoor movies featuring indigo clothing, all of which will be preceded by live blues music at 8:15 pm.
July 15: Goyokin (a 1969 atmospheric film of the "anti-samurai" genre set in Northern Japan), and music from Son Jack Jr. and Michael Wilde
July 22: Rain the Color of Blue... (the Saharan version of Purple Rain, starring musician Mdou Moctar), and music from Comfort Food
July 29: True Grit (the 2010 Coen brothers film), and music from The Jelly Rollers
