Paul Komada

Monument In Memory: Abstract Alaskan Way

Recommended

4Culture Gallery (map) Pioneer Square
Mondays-Fridays. Continues through June 29 2017

Free

Paul Komada has worked in a variety of media, including hand-knit yarn and acrylic on canvas, watercolor, photo, and video, thematically tied together by abstraction and an emphasis on process. Interestingly, he managed to add a high-tech, multilayered approach to the soft, pliable world of fiber arts. This exhibit highlights his photographs and audio pieces, which "preemptively memorialize" the Alaskan Way Viaduct.
