In Kat Larson's most recent solo exhibition at Bridge Productions, she told the story of the Ghost From Vega—a being from another planet that crash-landed on Earth only to find its power diminished by the lack of love and empathy it encountered among us. Using photography, video, and performances to invoke what she calls "the universal energy that flows through everything," Larson weaves new mythologies that seek to reawaken our sense of vulnerability and wonder. Hear the artist speak about her process and philosophy in a conversation with the Frye's manager of public programs, Negarra Kudumu.
