Workshop with Dr. Daudi Abe

Hiphop scholar and historian Dr. Daudi Abe will lead a free interactive workshop inspired by Dr. Beverly Tatum's book Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? Participants will explore their own experiences in school and reflect on what has and has not changed in our education system since Tatum first published the book ten years ago. Dr. Abe will also share resources and strategies for supporting students.
