The Seattle Chamber Music Society will present its winter season program with a two-weekend festival of six concerts flanked by free pre-concert recitals. Twenty acclaimed musicians are featured this year, including internationally renowned soloists, principals with major US orchestras, and top competition winners.

JANUARY 19
Recital: Pieces by Clara Schumann and Robert Schumann (free, 6:30 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Edward Elgar, Robert Schumann, and Erich Wolfgang Korngold (7:30 p.m.)

JANUARY 20
Recital: Pieces by Heinrich von Biber, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Georg Philipp Telemann (free, 6:30 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Franz Joseph Haydn, Robert Schumann, and William Walton (7:30 p.m.)

JANUARY 21
Recital: Pieces by Ludwig von Beethoven (free, 2 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, and Dmitri Shostakovich (3 p.m.)

JANUARY 26
Recital: Pieces by Johannes Brahms (free, 6:30 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Edvard Grieg, Amy Beach, and Richard Strauss (7:30 p.m.)

JANUARY 27
Recital: Pieces by Sergei Rachmaninov (free, 6:30 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Johannes Brahms (7:30 p.m.)

JANUARY 28
Recital: Pieces by Robert Schumann (free, 2:30 p.m.)
Concert: Pieces by Hildegard von Bingen, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Felix Mendelssohn (3 p.m.)
