"Raised outside of Seattle, WA, Dylan Jakobsen isn’t your typical country artist. He didn’t grow up on a farm & he doesn’t drink alcohol. His love of country music stemmed from artists like Church, Stapleton & Petty whose lyrics helped him find his voice as a writer and shape his career.

Though you won’t see him onstage without his acoustic, Dylan has spent the last decade learning over 10 instruments which he feature on his albums. By 2016 Dylan had found himself touring the US & living out of more hotels than he could remember. Spring & summer were spent playing festivals and fairs while fall was being booked on small club runs. On off days he was in the studio recording his debut album [From Where I Began] and getting ready to release his first single to country radio. 'Silverado' soon became a fan favorite and in turn, climbed the charts garnering Dylan his first Top 50 single as an independent artist on Music Row. His work ethic was starting to show and new opportunities were opening up for Dylan.

In January of 2017 Dylan was named 'One of 10 New Country Artists to Watch' by The Boot. Since then, Dylan has done a full UK headliner tour and been a support artist on dates with Eli Young Band, Cody Johnson, Aaron Watson, LOCASH, Chase Rice, Drake White & more. Looking ahead, Dylan is very excited to release new music and head back overseas in the new year!" (Promo Copy)
