Hiyu Wine Farm Dinner at Altura

"Altura will host winemaker Nate Ready of Smockshop Band and Hiyu Wine Farm (in Oregon) for his first ever wine dinner in Seattle. Nate Ready and China Tresemer founded Hiyu Wine Farm in 2015, which consists of 30 acres near the summit of Mt. Hood. Guided by nature, permaculture and biodynamic philosophies the pair tend vines, raise animals, garden, cook and create wines that truly express the farm's terroir.
Nate has hand-picked a selection of newly released wines he'd like to share, and Chef Nathan Lockwood has created a corresponding dish for each wine. Some of these exclusive wines will be available for purchase during the event.
The evening will begin with an informal gathering period at 6:00 p.m. during which there will be wine and stuzzichini abound. Then at 7:00 p.m. everyone will sit down for a five course meal, during which Nate will discuss his uniquely dedicated approach to natural wine-making." (Promo Copy)
