"For ages 7 - 13. The foundation of this camp is old-time fiddle tunes from North America and Europe. In addition to learning how to hold, tune, and care for their instrument, students will learn to play classic old-time fiddle tunes by ear, such as 'All the Pretty Little Horses' and 'Shady Grove.' The final day will feature a short performance for friends and family featuring the songs they’ve learned. Students should have a working fiddle appropriate to their size (¼, ½, ¾, or full), which may be purchased or rented from Hammond Ashley Violins in Issaquah.
