"For ages 7 - 13. Discover the foundational concepts of music consisting of rhythm, tempo, pitch, melody, major and minor keys, and more while learning one of today's most popular musical instruments. Learn chords and strumming, start reading music, and play while singing along to a variety of folk and pop/rock songs from the 1920's ('Yes Sir, That's My Baby') to today ('I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz). The final day will feature a short performance for friends and family featuring the songs they’ve learned. Students should have a working ukulele tuned GCEA (soprano, concert, or tenor), which may be purchased or rented through our store.
