"It’s spring, Easter is around the corner, and our thoughts naturally turn to a fabulous feast featuring roast spring lamb. Chef Instructor Bridget Charters, who lived and worked in Italy for several years, is here to show you how to make an Italian inspired feast that’s perfect for Easter or for anytime you want to set out a glorious spring dinner for family and friends.
Bridget will start you off with a classic asparagus frittata, then you’ll learn to make pasta with a special spring pesto as well as learning how to make a light, creamy custard made from fresh green peas. For the centerpiece of dinner, Bridget will show you how to butterfly spring lamb, rub it with an amazing herb mixture, roll, tie and roast it. For dessert, Bridget will demo a traditional Italian Easter Pie, or Torta Pasqualina, filled with sweetened ricotta.
