This special touring Smithsonian exhibit focuses on the historic Apollo 11 spaceflight of 1969, which landed the first two astronauts on the surface of the Moon, with a display of original Apollo 11-flown objects and artifacts from the "Space Race," including the historic NASA Apollo 11 command module, Columbia, a Soviet Sputnik satellite, an early cosmonaut spacesuit, and the remains of the Saturn V rocket engine.
