Hannah Palin—the Moving Image Curator at University of Washington Libraries—and Stephen Groening—Assistant Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Washington—will make a case for the importance of local TV news and what UW is doing to preserve archival footage from CBS-affiliated station KIRO-TV.
