Inspired by photography, Seattle painter Wylee Risso renders beautiful portraits of people in serene moments. There’s not much noise to his work, though this doesn’t mean that his edges are sharp. In fact, many of his subjects are a bit blurred, their image formed as if from an impression, a memory, a feeling. The self-taught artist will be displaying new and old work in the BLUR Gallery.
