"Join us for this dynamic presentation with former Alexander Technique and Guitar Craft instructor, Frank Sheldon, as he balances pondering experience with facilitating situations that generate useful experience that allow us to get clear with our creative process.

For over 30 years, Frank Sheldon has presented the Alexander Technique and led performance classes for Guitar Craft and Guitar Circles in the US, Europe, and South America. He has taught courses online and conducted in-person workshops and classes, all with an emphasis on creativity, personal responsibility, and being a witness to our own experience.

Frank earned a BA in Fine Arts from Clark University, attended the International Academy for Continuous Education in Sherborne, Gloucestershire, and trained as an Alexander Teacher in London for three years. He is the founding Director of The Virginia School for Alexander Technique, and is Co-Founder of a residential course in the Alexander Technique that takes place every summer.

When he is not teaching, Frank is a writer of fiction and non-fiction works and supports his wife, Ingrid Pape-Sheldon, in her photography business in Seattle. He enjoys visits from his daughter, who lives on the East Coast. Their old cat, Boots, left this world at the age of twenty-two, yet somehow the family feel she still has her eye on them – and on her nemesis, Noelle, a fluffy cat whom they now timeshare with their one hundred and three-year-old neighbor upstairs. Frank and his family feel fortunate to have their company, as they are both have achieved the wisdom that can come with age." (Promo Copy)
