"This month's Climate Science on Tap panel discussion at Optimism Brewing, will appropriately focus on reasons for optimism on climate action as evidenced by the 2019 WA legislative session, the trend of cities and counties signing on to renewable energy pledges across the country, the way 2020 presidential candidates are treating climate change, and how young people are driving the conversation around this issue.  Along with reasons for current optimism, climate actions to sustain optimism on into 2020 will also be available from panelists, climate organizations, and climate activists.

We expect the panel to include:  Rep Joe Fitzgibbon, Chair, WA House Environment and Energy Committee; Greg Rock, Policy Chair, Carbon Washington; Meg Smith, King County Dir of Climate and Energy Initiatives; and Zoya Tierstien, Grist online news Staff Writer. Details, speakers, and tabling organizations to be confirmed soon! These Climate Science on Tap events at Optimism Brewing are always fun, with great panelists, conversation and tasty beer.  It will be a fun way to stop, celebrate, and look at what's up next!"
