Earlier this year, participants from all over the world were asked to collect two- to three-minute field recordings (plus photos) to be compiled with others, resulting in a 26-minute mega recording that spans the course of a day. Hear the time-lapse composition (which is paired with a composition by pianist David Haney and drummers Bernard Purdie and Dave Storrs) after hearing an experimental piece for guitars by Blake DeGraw.
