"B-EATS is a partnership with Dan Bugge, a local restauratear who spent ten years throwing fish in iconic Pike’s Place Market before opening successful restaurants Matt’s in the Market and Radiator Whiskey.

“I’ve lived in Seattle most of my life and Bumbershoot is something I look forward to every year… it’s a part of our history,” Bugge said. “I could tell the organizers were excited to bring some of that local spirit to attendees through food, so I was really excited to participate and help get other great chefs on board. My team and I just said ’who do we love right now? Who are the next big restaurateurs in Seattle?’”

Bugge worked with the Bumbershoot team to select a diverse mix of local restaurants to participate in the program, which will take place in its own tent on the festival grounds through Labor Day Weekend. On August 30, the first day the festival opens, attendees can sample and purchase various foods from participating chefs and local restaurants.
