This mighty fine Thursday night bill at Clock-Out Lounge is headed up by Of Montreal’s all-analog dance-pop side project Yip Deceiver, co-led by Nicolas "Dobby" Dobbratz and Davey Pierce. They are a whole lotta fun. Need proof? Look up the video for “Get Strict,” which includes, but is not limited to, a knock-down drag-out fight between Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, nuns executing a choreographed dance in a diner, and a bikini-clad hottie in a rhinestone-encrusted Storm Trooper helmet popping a bottle of champagne and then throwing a grenade.
