Colleen Louise Barry: 'The Trophy Room' Closing
Recommended
In The Trophy Room, artist-writer-poet Colleen Louise Barry has created an ephemeral, immersive, site-specific installation made out of papier-mâché inside the Factory. Expect bright colors and smiley faces. In this space, the visitor can feel like “a winner AND a loser living in an absurd reality.” There will be 80 trophies placed around the room; each one is paired with a line from a poem. You can even take one of the text-sculptures home—imagine that.
