"Bruce Springsteen’s performance with the E Street Band opening for Bonnie Raitt at Harvard Square Theater on May 9, 1974, is said to have changed the trajectory of his career forever. In the audience that night was Rolling Stone music critic Jon Landau, who famously said that he’d seen rock and roll future that night, and photographer Barry Schneier, whose recollections, interviews and photos are collected in a new book: Bruce Springsteen: Rock and Roll Future (Backstreets). Barry Schneier’s tour appearances to discuss these rare photographs include stops at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Bruce Springsteen Archives and the Center for American Music." (Promo Copy)
