Hear artist John Akomfrah, featured at SAM in the solo exhibition Future Historyas he converses with Paul D. Miller (aka DJ Spooky) about his experimental The Last Angel of History (1996), in which the protagonist accesses the early internet and assembles wisdom from black cultural luminaries like Sun Ra, Octavia Butler, and George Clinton. Take advantage of free entry to the exhibition during the Community Opening.
