Northern Lights Viewing
According to the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, there's a good chance that the Kp-index will be higher than a four this week, meaning the northern United States will likely be treated to some stellar views of the Northern Lights (weather permitting). The best spot to witness the spectacle from Washington will be at Western Washington’s northernmost national park, North Cascades.
