"The zoo is postponing our Earth Day for All event in April and moving all the fun activities planned to the summer as part of Living Northwest Fest, celebrating the animals, people and places that make the Pacific Northwest best. Special thank you to Boeing in Washington who, as the presenting sponsor for Earth Day, has generously agreed to keep funding the zoo’s conservation mission through these extraordinary times and is now making June's Living Northwest Fest possible.

Living Northwest Fest

A celebration of everything that makes the Northwest a diverse and special place to live, from animals and habitats to communities and cultures from all over the world that call the Northwest home. This event will introduce the zoo’s newly updated Living Northwest Trail exhibit, include animal keeper talks and feature “Bear Affair,” the zoo’s beloved grizzly bears demonstrating what goes wrong when food and garbage aren’t stored properly. Conservation partners from all around the Pacific Northwest will join the zoo, and community members will help celebrate the diverse Northwest region with cultural performances of music, dance and storytelling."
