A little company called BP. Yeah, that BP. Perhaps you're familiar with their work?

If you're going to hold Tim accountable for accepting donations from BP, they you should at least point out that our Pelican Cleaner in Chief got a lot of donations from BP. Along with just about everybody else. Fuck.. I think I'll run a shitty campaign for Dog Catcher next year just to collect a campaign contribution from BP that will go straight to my MD 20/20 addition.
2
MD 20/20 addition? I'll say you've had one too many.

Eyman is a sleazeball con artist making his living off peddling initiatives that are terrible!

Um, I believe that refinery on Cherry Point near Bellingham called "BP Cherry Point Refinery" is owned by BP. I also believe it's a refinery. Maybe I'm wrong, but my uncle has worked there for 35 years. Want me to ask him?
5
BP doesn't have a refinery in Washington???

Hey guys,

I made a mistake--BP runs the Cherry Point facility near Bellingham. We're correcting the article to reflect this.

Cheers,
Cienna

Why does Tim E hate America so?

Institute a fucking high earners income tax.

"Voters don't like taxes—it's as simple as that,"
--Tim Eyman

You know what else most people would rather not do? Go to the dentist. You know what? Nobody should go to the dentist. Seriously, we should all just stop going! That'll show 'em.

Nobody should ever have to do anything they don't desperately want to do.
10
More like Tim E wants a free ride on the back of the rest of us.
11
Just a minor spelling error: 'ConocoPhillips' from 'Conoco' and 'Phillips,' short for 'Continental Oil Company' and 'Phillips Petroleum Company'

kathotdog doesn't like Tim Eyman and would never sign a petition for one of his initiatives or vote for one of his initiatves.
13
As if we didn't have enough reason to dislike Eyman... good catch, Cienna!

Eyesore snivels about companies passing the costs of higher taxes on to consumers. Yes, so what? If I buy a product that contributes to a collective problem I should have to pay a tax on it to help resolve the collective problem. People who don't get this are the types who leave their trash around for others to clean up. BP is definitely that kind of "person".

Maybe BP can plug Timmy's mouth and his other orafice.
17
@14 Exactly right! So the fuck what if they pass the tax onto their customers. Can we at least have the people that buy the oil pay the tax instead of making ALL of us share the burden?
18
Are you sure BP doesn't own a refinery in Washington? I agree that I-1053 isn't a smart move. But, I think BP owns the Cherry Point Refinery in north-western washington.

Please wait...
