I both laughed & wept. Laughed at the great writing, especially Sherman slapping Bennet's hand away as he grabs the contract. But it also reminded me of the horrible humiliating losses Seattle sports have suffered.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. We don't owe the "whole thing" to Sherman. We owe it to the TEAM, without whose everyday play-making hard work, Richard Sherman would not have had his moment. It was one excellent play in a season of good work.
@6 I agree. "The tip" is but an example, and symbol, of the many and unique attributes of this team and its players that makes it interesting to watch and successful in pro football.
Sherman is the hero Seattle needs and deserves.
