Sawant's policy of hatred towards those of Southern European ancestry should forever bar her from participating in Washington politics.

This is the most absolutely absurd thing I've ever seen. I love The Stranger, and I am so appalled that this is a thing. People who cannot think for themselves should not be voting in the first place. This is exactly what the problem is with our country... If what happens within our government is so low on your priorities that you can't take the time to read the proposals, you don't deserve a vote. You should not vote just for the sake of voting, you should vote because you give a damn what happens here.
