Remembering Aaron Huffman, 1972–2016

He was a designer, a musician, an illustrator, a painter, a husband, a father, and the art director of The Stranger from 2006 to 2015.

Sorry for the loss of your friend and co-worker. It's good that his suffering is over, but still, this must hurt deeply for all of you.
oh. oh what the fuck. what? goddammit.

aaron was an acquaintance at best to me, but what a great man he was. so sad to hear this news.

Where have all the merrymakers gone, indeed.
For print publications and their affiliated websites, words are the freight but art & design constitute the vessel floating that cargo atop murky depths. The very same writing typed on plain white paper would have near-zero impact. Thanks, Aaron, for creating the pixelated boat that merrily brought Stranger/Slog content to my desert isle over the last decade. It's nice to see such a tribute from your colleagues.
Sorry for your loss. He was a tremendous talent.
I'm so, so sorry for your loss.
