"It's now obvious that the Republican Party has lost control of Donald Trump."

I'd call it generous to say they ever had any control over Donald Trump. Great article though, and the illustration is fantastic.

Donald Trump's America: Land of the Bigots and Home of the Afraid!
3
Or just an America not owned by the corporate political establishment? That sounds kind of nice.
4
I'd rather have the current corporate political establishment vs the corporate friends Trump has. Sane people don't want to work with the guy.

@3:

If you think that would be the result of a Trump/Pence Administration, you've got another think coming. You can quibble all you want about Clinton's ties to corporations, but with Trump & Co., there's absolutely no doubt about it. Trump is literally a byword for the Corporate Welfare State - you think that is going to change if he's elected?
6
@5, if that's the case, the GOP elite would actually like the guy.

@6:

The only reason they DON'T is because they don't have the ability to control him - multi-national corporations aren't going to have that same trepidation, because in their world, he's still a pretty small fish in a very large pond.

@8:

So, your "alternative" is to vote for a racist, misogynist, know-nothing, morally (not to mention financially - many times over) bankrupt kleptocrat instead?

@8 Trump isn't exactly squeaky clean himself. He's been accused of rape not once, not twice but thrice. He is currently being sued for running a sham university and by dozens of contractors for non-payment. He is a classic slum Lord sleaze bag type who happens to be able to tap into people's fears.

The things he says terrify me. One of my greatest concerns of a Trump presidency is the damage he will do to our reputation in the international community.
