I regret that the Stranger has lost so much moral authority in recent years. Time was, they could look at politicians objectively and neutrally. Somewhere along the line they decided to be cheerleaders. They have their sweethearts (Lisa Herbold, Kshama Sawant) and can't admit their mistake when their darlings turn out to be corrupt or incompetent. Either get back to being a real news organization or throw in the towel.

@12, In this world, writing what you did will not have the desired effect of removing the journalist in question from "The Stranger" staff room. But maybe you knew that, and it wasn't actually your desired effect? Maybe you just wanted to let some strangers (pun intended) know -- via those detailed, ungenerous thoughts, now, at the end of an awful year -- that you should get respect for voicing some profound thoughts about journalism.
