Mistakes were made at The Stranger in 2019.

On July 17th 2019, the Stranger apologized for not including Tulsi Gabbard in the Democratic Candidates part of their Sex Survey: "Our bad! We stand corrected, we apologize for the oversight, and we regret the error."
Such sincerity, it's almost offensive, too much like a stereotype.

Hopefully Nathalie Graham regrets her tasteless much-publicized fixation on violent serial killer, Ted Bundy.

Well, I regret my haphazardly 'edited' comments
which're too numerous to numerate.
As well as a few others.

But I don't regret YOU, Stranger!

"Charles Mudede regrets that many white men can't
see the few white men at the top of our society
as their oppressors."

How can they POSSIBLY be "oppressors"
(or "Terrorists," for that matter?!)
IF THEY'RE W H I T E?
THIS IS America!
Last I checked.

If ya wanna be Right
ya gotta be White.
That's just what I
heard trumpfy
say.

I regret killing a spider lowering herself down over me in my bathroom this summer. She was only curious of her indoor surroundings, and obviously more afraid of me than I of her. I grew up in a house of big, bloodthirsty arachnids and where yellow jackets were flying gang members. Rest in peace, Charlotte.

I regret that Charles Mudede, a socialist, suffers from gout, and in an attempt to rectify this I believe that our president, a capitalist, needs to suffer (more) from some kind of disease of poor people, or possibly all of them at once and concurrently.

@7 Idiots and racists often conflate the one line from the one speech most people can quote accurately, and the word "non-violence", with the entirety of the teachings of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.
While you've already convinced many here that you're both, raindrop, would you like to share some of your, let's say understanding, of the philosophy of MLK, or your, let's call it evidence, Charles has forgotten?

10

I regret that most of you are still in Climate Denial.

And the 2,000,000,000 people who will die as a result of this.

(official NATO military estimates of death tolls due to climate change)

11

@7,9 Perhaps the reverend doctor put out a treatise on the attractiveness of gloves of which I am unaware.

13

I regret that everyone on the current staff are too new to the area to show respect regarding acknowledging the death of Elijah Nelson of Black Breath, who was a fixture in The Stranger's very neighborhood. Do Better. RIP Wizard.

15

Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien.

16

@12 It's strange that you should act like anyone would believe you know to what extent MLK discussed gloves, when you appear unfamiliar with his discourses on white people.

18

@17 ...or you could finally take my invitation, offered way back at comment #8 to share what it is in your understanding of MLK's teachings that you're claiming Charles "set aside at times for strategic clickbait firepower." (#9).

I've offered gloves (tongue-in-cheek) and calling out white people (pointedly).

20

@10 Will in Seattle: I hope that you will find comfort in knowing that I am not among climate change deniers, and am doing what I can as a citizen to help slow global warming.

21

@19 I agree with your self-critique, and it's recursive completeness.

Still I should apologize, I clearly needed to allow for bad faith back in comment #8:
Idiots, racists and trolls often conflate the one line from the one speech most people can quote accurately, and the word "non-violence", with the entirety of the teachings of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.
