Very well written article. I am just wondering why the Republicans under the Bush administration needed to run the country into so far into the ground before people got it and are now calling on the Democrats to come in and save the day.

The Washington State Potato Commission and the Washington Asparagus Commission recently held a fundraiser for U.S. Senator Patty Murray in Richland, Washington on November 12, 2009.

The purpose of the fundraiser was to thank and reward Senator Patty Murray for the millions of dollars in potato and asparagus research appropriations and earmarks that the Senator has secured for the Washington State potato and asparagus industries over the past several years.

During the November 12th fundraiser, representatives from Washington State Potato Commission and Washington Asparagus Commission indicated that they would continue to raise money for and support Senator Patty Murray if she continues to bring home the earmarks for them.

The fundraiser was attended by 25 representatives of the Washington potato and asparagus industries.

This is the first time I have read about the "inner-mountain west." I think that Mr. Sanders actually meant the "inter-mountain" west.

I hope Tester prevails. It's time for the republican influence in this country to go away. Homophobic, racist bunch of neanderthals. The republican shutdown of Govt. cost 23 BILLION $. That could have provided health care for everyone in the United Sates for three (3) years. How do they keep getting away with this crap? Obamacare is here to stay. The next President of this country will be Hillary Clinton. A Democrat. The republicans made such a sideshow of the last election, who in their right mind would vote republican, unless they were from the south and didn't know any better, that's the republican voter base, uneducated southerners.

Please wait...
