As a supporter of HRC, I still felt frosty toward the Obama/Biden ticket even after the DNC. Whenever an Obama acolyte trashes HRC, I still want to punch them in their smug little faces. However, Palin has inspired in me renewed belief in the DNP and my vote will be cast, albeit reluctantly, for Obama this November.

I wasn't a strong Hillary supporter, but I do admire how hard she worked and what she did for women during this election. If she had been on the ticket instead of Obama, I certainly would have voted for her. I feel insulted and maybe even a little amused that McCain seemed to assume that women everywhere would fall at Palin's feet because she has all the right female parts. We're smarter than that, and if we're going to have a woman in the white house, it will be because she's qualified for the job, not just because she's a woman.
