I have been following this film's production with great interest, as I was involved in local politics in the 90s and was leaving town right as Grant was running and followed along online the campaign. It's weird to see all those issues revisited 9-10 years later and knowing how things turned out.

I have all my fingers and toes crossed.

Pedantry: I believe it's Stuart Townsend. And how come we can only see one of the article's pictures? Poopie!
4
Grant, you are constantly entertaining and amazing.
5
When I lived in Mexico City, my saving grace was The Benjamin Franklin Library...good luck with your bookstore :)
6
I am one of the crass punks in the rebar scene. cheers!
7
Great piece, Grant.
8
Grant, you're still smart, sexy and talented as allgetout. I wish that Seattle voters had the courage back in the day to vote for you and your vision.
9
People should learn to spell it Stuart when it's Stuart.
10
I still think someone should make a biopic about Marion Zioncheck.

Marty Riemer totally FREAKED OUT (in excitement) learning about the Grassroots film in today's podcast/webcast.

They start discussing it around the 35:30 mark.

Hollywood Schmollywood.

15
I hope Grassroots will be the new Singles for Seattle. Battle in Seattle was a joke.
16
It must be a comedy. Whose dick did you suck to get a movie made about you?
17
@15, "the new Singles" is very funny.
18
I think you sucked MY dick, 'Spicy'!

Please wait...
