Miracle!: Offensive. Hedda Gabler: Solid until the interpretive dance. Dirty Story: Heavy-handed. Romeo and Juliet: A spot of ghetto heaven.

This is the ultimate question here. The group pretending to be Intiman - simply using the name of a theatre that they no longer are - has taken ONE MILLION DOLLARS from other arts groups (many of which have taken a double hit: having accepted Intiman tickets from its failed season and then watching Intiman take donations from its sponsors) and they STILL haven't given the City of Seattle back its owed rent, nor have they paid they outstanding invoices.
So: Were these 4 productions worth a million dollars that could have gone to other groups, ones that are FAR more responsible with their assets????
I'm glad you asked Andrew about his choice at the end of Hedda. It was certainly needed some explanation. I'm not sure I agree with his comment though. here is what I thought of the production http://seattletheaterscene.blogspot.com/…
I guess I forgave the heavy handedness of the script a bit more, mainly because the production was so tight otherwise. Here are my thoughts http://seattletheaterscene.blogspot.com/…
