Groth seems to be the kind of hero I imagined when I started reading Love & Rockets in the early 80s, a compatriot in the higher aesthetics of comix, a magnate with a magnet for the good stuff, a trailblazer of a just comics world. I've had difficulties with the recent Kickstarter though (only received 1 of 3 items promised), so I railed against his management of the Kickstarter campaign. I hope he can accept the criticism constructively because I'm reminded here that he's still kind of a hero of mine.
