I'm not a viewer. I must have seen a grand total of 2 minutes and 37 seconds of it over the course of the last decade, pausing while flipping between stations. But, after 13 seasons, it's clear it's a money-maker. Why? Does anyone have an idea of what the demographic is for this show? Eleven year old girls don't have that much purchasing power, so that can't be it.
The editing of Kelsey telling her story about the death of her husband was pretty disgusting. They mixed her telling Chris in dramatic fashion with her telling the story probably weeks earlier when they started filming. To cut those together and add music to cue her as the bad guy, was more than just unfair.
In 13 years they've had 19 seasons? That makes sense for Seattle time, where the year is divided into 10 months of Sprautum and half a Summer, but most of the rest of the country has a more conventional calendar.
OK I confess, I often watch this thing, I have no excuse beyond boredom.
This season is a breakthrough--There is a woman with SHORT HAIR (well, sort of neck/chin length, but still, not flopping over her shoulders in lustrous waves).
There also frequently seems to be a woman or two "of color" but they always get booted after about the second or third episode.

Well we're all entitled to our quirks.

I agree that there must have been some sort of editing to make her look so callous.
I still think she's pretty crazy.
This show is crazy. I barely watch with my wife and it stresses me out.
