OMG, thank you Jon Stuart. He made (almost) all the points I've been making since the memorial (the Irish Wake was the most poignant and applicable). I'm in Tucson and it's been kinda weird here since the shooting but it's been very nice how people have been coming together. Case in point; I absolutely can't stand Jan Brewer but I really liked her speech. Of course I got choked up a few times during Obama's speech which I thought was wonderful.

Fyi, my wife and I volunteered for the Angels Project when we heard that Westboro Baptist was suppose to show up. Well I just got back from John Roll's funeral and those asshats chickened out. They weren't at any of the events they said they were going to be at (Christina's funeral yesterday, Tucson High this morning, John's funeral after that, and the Safeway where the shooting took place.) Just thought you might want to know.

@6 Ha! You folks coming together in solidarity totally defeated Phelps and Co.'s message of hate in the best way possible. My hat is off to ya'll. Awesome.
