For the past year or so, the video extravaganza Collide-O-Scope has enjoyed a bi-monthly residency at Re-bar, where every other Monday has brought four hours of freaky found video and free Red Vines. Starting last month, Collide-O-Scope began a monthly residency at Central Cinema, and where the four-hour Re-bar shows feel like stumbling into someone's hilarious basement rec-room party, last month's premiere two-hour Central Cinema show felt like a cinema event, with the more formal setting and tighter time stricture inspiring the CoS guys to new levels of wit and precision.
