Admire him or despise him, people have strong feelings about Colton Harris-Moore, aka the Barefoot Bandit. After escaping a halfway house, he went on the lam and became a phenomenon in the Pacific Northwest. The teenager survived in the woods of Camano and Orcas Islands, gathering supplies by breaking into homes and businesses, and eluded capture for more than two years. He stole cars, boats, and airplanes (after teaching himself to fly), disappearing miraculously. This film does a good job of looking at the puzzle he presented to society: Was he a criminal or a folk hero?
