Definitely worth a read if you liked the documentary.

As a distant cousin to Vidal, please allow me to make an important distinction as to his animosity towards John F. Kennedy: Gore had a long and serious obsessive crush on Jackie (yes, I realize this is somewhat bizarre given that Gore was gay, but be that as it may, he sincerely despised JFK's marriage to her).
