Original Post 10:10 AM: Sony has not yet commented, but a few American theaters have announced that they'll be screening The Interview on Christmas. Here's confirmation from Alamo Drafthouse owner Tim League:
Breaking news: Sony has authorized screenings of THE INTERVIEW on Christmas Day. We are making shows available within the hour. #Victory

But on the other hand, The Interview is (allegedly) being released because some art house theaters and independent theater chains are willing to carry it. All the national theater chains wimped out. So even if you don't see The Interview this Christmas, you should give your support to your local art house theater for being willing to screen controversial films after Regal and AMC and all the rest balked.
I'll update this post if any Seattle-area movie theaters announce they'll be screening The Interview.
UPDATE 10:22 AM: I've reached out to a few local theaters but haven't heard back yet. However, Sony has officially released a statement saying they "have never given up on releasing 'The Interview.'" Okay, guys. Sure thing.
UPDATE 1:58 PM: The list of theaters showing The Interview has grown over the last few hours, but Seattle's still not representing. West Virginia is, though.
UPDATE 4:57 PM: Ark Lodge Cinema will be screening The Interview starting on Christmas.
