I returned yesterday from 8 days in Istanbul. My perspective on Islam has dramatically changed. While I'm interested to see the perspective of this film, there's no substitute for being in a place.

Taking the old "poverty = crime" canard, and raising it to "poverty=terrorism" is complete insanity.

@2: In the Middle East, riots and revolution are fed by economic hardship. Both the Arab Spring and the Syrian revolution were exacerbated by drought and famine.
It's not insanity just because you lack the intelligence and vision to comprehend it.
