Ms Richards, Koreans, unlike some of their Asian neighbors, do not have a long history of being occupied, colonized and brutalized by foreign invaders; and they are very proud of this fact. They were invaded by Ghenghis Khan like the rest of Asia, and annexed by Japan during the early to mid 20th C, but otherwise they were ruled for thousands of years by their own people.

If you actually, you know, TALK to some Koreans or read up about their country before watching their movie and then sneer at it, perhaps you wouldn't sound so ridiculous.
