Unicorn Booty ran a review of this film that referred to it as a homophobic piece of trash. Gay Star News suggests that the filmmaker denies any homophobia, and is in fact trying to be ironic by loading it with homophobic jokes.

I haven't seen the film myself, and am unlikely to. I have no desire to rehash the television shows Baby Boomers grew up on yet again, and tire of Hollywood's total lack of ability to generate a new idea. The added salt of potentially bigoted jokes makes this too likely to raise my blood pressure in an unpleasant way. I shall therefore stick to my low-nostalgia diet.
