Wait - THAT Rampage? 16 bit? From like 20 years ago?

Man, Hollywood is really scraping the bottom of the reboot barrel...

Hey if we're doing old-skool video games as movies I want ALTERED BEAST.

What about a Leisure Suit Larry and the Lounge Lizards movie?

#1 closer to 30 years ago. Sigh

"Yes, Rampage is as dumb as a sack of those quarters. But you can’t say the filmmakers didn’t meet their mandate."

As a big fan of these types of games (this one when it was on PS1, and King of the Monsters for Neo-Geo), that's all I was hoping for. I would also support Spiffy D's suggestion of Altered Beast, though personally I think it would be better if it had Harryhausen-style stop motion effects instead of modern CGI.

YOU ARE WRONG ON THE INTERNET. The Rampage Arcade machine ran on the original Midway Monoboard, which used a Zilog Z-80 8-bit processor, not a 16-bit processor as you claim!

Yes, I feel ashamed for having taken the time to look that up and write this comment.

Supergp for the win.

I missed the whole video game thing, though I did play Space Invaders on a tabletop machine (had somewhere to set my beer) while a freshman in college in the 70’s. All that said I think I love Supergp and may be willing to learn from them.

Please wait...
