My favorite short film of 2017, and one that won many awards—even at top festivals like SXSW Film Festival—is now available on Vimeo. Directed by Wes Hurley and Nate Miller (both local filmmakers), and starring the former, and concerning the former's mother and move from Russia to the US in the 1990s, "Little Potato" also has a great soundtrack by local musician Robyn C. Miller. Seattle's leading music critic, Dave Segal, describes it as "extraordinary electronic music."
