EDGAR HOOVER got up to getting fucked & blown in drag.... the guy still celebrated with his NAME in the FBI building, the bureau chief still looked up to by legions of FBI agents, the man who aggressively persecuted Americans because they had progressive or non-"standard" political views....

... was himself eminently persecutable given the enforced cultural rules at the time.
