I heartily agree with the author's assessment of this delightful film! Just one correction, though: there actually is a lobster in 'The Favourite'. Two, in fact. They are brought by a pair of servants to Anne's bedchamber late in the film, presumably for a race. A nice wink at the audience for those who know the director's past works!
