'Hero' was one of the most amazing pieces of cinematography I've ever seen. Beyond merely beautiful, it uses different color palettes as tools of the storytelling. The cinematography doesn't just make it look pretty, it is integral to the whole movie. The whole thing is a work of art. I've got it on DVD, but watching it on a small screen pales. 'Hero' on a large theater screen is vastly better. (And having Jet Li in it doesn't hurt the movie either.)
So, if this is anything like the cinematography in 'Hero', then your recommendation to see it in a theater is probably wise.
Now I want to see this.
